Why personalisation sells
Personalised jewelry — with a name, date, monogram or coordinates — has an emotional value that mass products lack. For a brand it means higher margin, less price comparability and stronger customer attachment. It is one of the fastest-growing segments.
Personalisation techniques
We most often use laser engraving (name, date, handwriting, coordinates), as well as hand engraving and setting birthstones. You can personalise pendants, rings, bracelets and signets.
Personalisation in serial production
We also do personalisation within a series: the base design is repeatable, and the individual element (e.g. engraving) is added at the end. This lets a brand offer mass personalisation without losing production pace.
What to watch for
Plan the engraving spot and character limit already at the design stage, set the process for collecting data from the customer and return rules (a personalised product may be excluded from returns). Good preparation reduces errors and complaints.
For brands and shops
Personalisation works great in e-commerce and occasion gifts. We do it within custom production and private label, under the client's brand.
Summary
Personalisation raises value and loyalty, and technically is easy to slot into a series. The key is to plan the engraving in the design and the data-collection process. An effective way to make a brand's offer stand out.
