Laser welding — joining without overheating
Traditional soldering heats a large area of the piece, risking distortion of delicate parts and damage to stones. A laser focuses energy on a spot a fraction of a millimetre wide: it joins metal locally without affecting the rest. This allows welding next to set stones, repairing fine chains and joining elements that could not be soldered. Especially important in titanium, which cannot be soldered conventionally.
Laser engraving — personalisation at scale
Laser engraving reproduces a logo, monogram, serial number or micro-text to micron accuracy — identically on the first and the thousandth piece. For brands it is the basis of branding (logo on a clasp, tag or ring interior) and personalisation programmes that raise margin. It is fast, has no tool wear and works on silver, gold, titanium and steel. Details on our laser engraving page.
Laser cutting — forms impossible by hand
From thin sheet a laser cuts openwork, letters and geometries that cannot be hand-sawn repeatably in series. In titanium it is the basic method of shaping, as the metal is hard and tolerates conventional machining poorly. Combining laser cutting with anodizing yields light, colourful elements — a direction visible in premium collections. More in our titanium jewelry guide.
Laser and craft
The laser does not replace the jeweler — it extends their reach. Welding and cutting prepare elements that then pass through hand fitting, polishing and inspection. The best results come when the laser operator is also an experienced craftsman who understands metal. That is how we work at Argentum: technology in the hands of people with decades of practice.
What it means for a brand
Access to laser welding, engraving and cutting at a single manufacturer means fewer external stages, shorter lead times and consistent quality. A brand can order a series with logos, numbers and titanium elements — without coordinating several subcontractors. As a titanium jewelry manufacturer and a maker of silver and gold jewelry, we run all these processes in-house.
