Four components of the price
The cost of custom jewelry production is driven mainly by four elements: material, labour, process and finishing and volume. Understanding them helps you compare offers and plan a budget.
Material — the biggest variable
The price of metal is usually the most volatile item, as it depends on the current rate and the weight of the piece. We work in 925 silver, 585 and 750 gold and titanium. See: silver jewelry manufacturer, gold jewelry and titanium jewelry.
Process and finishing
Cost also depends on complexity: casting, CNC machining, laser engraving and electroplating — rhodium and gold plating. The more detail and handwork, the higher the unit cost.
Volume (MOQ)
The larger the run, the lower the cost per piece — setup costs (3D model, moulds) spread across more items. We handle both trial runs and custom production and private label up to 15,000–25,000 pieces a month.
How to get a reliable quote
For a quote, prepare: a design or reference photo, the chosen material and fineness, an approximate volume and a budget. The more information, the more accurate the offer. We prepare quotes individually and free of charge.
Setup fee and unit price after the prototype
A new design needs one-off preparation: a 3D model or adaptation of your design, plus a prototype for approval. We quote this stage individually, separately from production. We give the unit price only after the prototype is approved — that is when the final weight, finishing and volume are known, so the offer is binding rather than indicative. The minimum is 10 pieces per design for 925 silver and gold.
