Electroplating services — rhodium and gold

We provide electroplating services for jewelry — rhodium, gold and silver plating — with durable, repeatable coatings on silver and brass.

Electroplating services for jewelry

We run our own electroplating department and provide plating services for jewelry: rhodium, gold and silver plating — on our own production and on items entrusted by the client. The process runs in-house in Poland (Made in EU), with control of coating thickness and repeatability.

Types of coating

Rhodium plating gives silver and white gold a bright, durable shine and protects against tarnish. Gold plating (including vermeil — gold over silver) is done in various shades and thicknesses. Silver plating is used as a protective and decorative layer. We explain the differences in rhodium vs gold plating.

Quality and thickness control

We match coating thickness to the use — from a thin decorative layer to thicker, more wear-resistant coatings. Surface preparation (degreasing, activation) determines durability; we treat it as part of the process, not an add-on. More on the technology in jewelry electroplating.

Who it is for

For brands and workshops that want to outsource plating of a batch, and as part of full custom production. We handle series as well as smaller entrusted batches.

How to order plating

Describe the item, base metal, type and thickness of coating and batch size — we will reply with a quote and lead time. We serve Poland and export (PL/EN/DE). See also silver jewelry production.

Frequently asked questions

What coatings do you offer?

Rhodium, gold (including vermeil) and silver plating, in various shades and thicknesses, on our own and entrusted items.

What is rhodium plating and why use it?

It is a thin rhodium layer over silver or white gold; it protects against tarnish and gives a bright, durable shine.

Do you plate items entrusted by the client?

Yes — we accept entrusted batches. Surface preparation is key, and we carry it out as part of the process.

How do you choose coating thickness?

To the use: from a thin decorative layer to a thicker, more wear-resistant one. Thickness affects durability and price.

Is gold plating the same as solid gold?

No — gold plating is a gold coating over another metal (e.g. vermeil is gold over silver). We agree thickness and gold fineness with the client.

How is plating priced?

It depends on coating type and thickness, batch size and surface preparation. We quote it after a description of the item and batch.
