Gold in jewelry — the basics
Gold is the premium metal in jewelry. Production mainly uses 585 (14K) and 750 (18K) in yellow, white and rose. As a gold jewelry manufacturer we make it to order and under the client's brand, in-house in Poland.
Fineness and colours
585 is 58.5% gold — durable, good for everyday jewelry. 750 is 75% — a warmer colour and higher value, common in premium. Colour depends on the alloy: copper gives rose, palladium/silver gives white. White gold is rhodium-plated as standard. More in silver and gold fineness.
Gold from entrusted material
Given the high metal cost, gold is usually made from entrusted material: the client supplies the metal, and we handle the making and losses. Labour is quoted separately from the gold value.
Process and finishes
Design and 3D model, casting, machining, finishing and electroplating — all with us. We offer high polish, satin, texturing and rhodium plating of white gold.
Volumes and lead times
The minimum order is 10 pieces per design, and the lead time is usually about 6 weeks from confirmation. We make everyday, engagement jewelry and wedding bands, under the client's brand.
Summary
Gold is the premium segment: 585 for everyday, 750 for premium, colour depending on the alloy. Settlement from entrusted material and separate labour cost give a transparent price. See gold jewelry production.
